About the Bribie Island Scout Group Building and Campground

The Bribie Island Scout Group is proudly located in the heart of Bribie Island, Queensland, providing a central hub for Scouting activities across all sections, including Joeys, Cubs, Scouts, Venturers, and Rovers. Our building serves as a welcoming, functional space for meetings, events, and skill-building activities, while our campground offers a natural, adventure-filled environment for outdoor experiences.

Location

The Scout building is conveniently located at 94 Webster Street, Bribie Island, within close proximity to local amenities, parks, and the beautiful natural landscapes the island is known for. The site is easily accessible by road and offers ample parking for visitors and members alike.

The Building

Our Scout hall is a versatile facility equipped with:

  • A spacious main hall for meetings, activities, and events

  • A fully functional kitchen for catering during events and camps

  • Toilets and Showers

  • Outdoor and Undercover activity areas for hands-on learning

The hall is available for hire to community groups, subject to availability and Scout event schedules.

The Campground

Adjacent to the Scout hall, our campground provides a safe, natural environment for outdoor adventures, including:

  • Large camping area on gentle sloping grassy ground

  • Bunkhouse that sleeps 34 in Double Bunks

  • Fire pit for camp cooking and campfire activities

  • Sheltered area for group gatherings and activities

  • Short walk to bushland for exploration, orienteering, and nature-based learning

The campground is perfect for hosting weekend camps, overnight expeditions, and large Scouting events.

Activities and Facilities

The Bribie Island Scout Group utilizes its location to offer a wide range of Scouting activities, such as:

  • Canoeing and water-based activities (with nearby access to the Pumicestone Passage)
