Campground Rules

 

 

NOISE CURFEW IN AFFECT FROM 9.00PM TO 6.30AM

We are not open for Public/Private camping.

Camping only permitted where advised by Group Staff on arrival, Camping under trees is not advisable and done so at own risk.

All campers and visitors to the Bribie Island Scout Groups Campground use equipment on site at their own risk. No liability will be accepted by Bribie Island Scout Group for any injury or loss, outside of our legal obligations.

All camping and accommodation fees are to be paid on receipt of Invoice sent on confirmation of Numbers.

Check in is between 2 pm-7.30 pm Friday, from 7.00 am Saturday, except by prior arrangement.

Campsite is to be kept in a clean and tidy state. Loud or unruly behaviour, violence, drug or alcohol abuse or loud lewd and offensive language will not be tolerated and will result in immediate eviction from the campground.

The use of illegal drugs will not be tolerated and will result in immediate eviction from the grounds without refund.

The campground is classed as an underage sporting venue and therefore it is a non-smoking area under Queensland legislation. Smoking is only permitted in the driveway at the street entrance to the Grounds.

The lighting of fires is restricted to the campfire circle for scouting activities.

Generators are not permitted for general camping.

Consideration should be always given to our neighbours. Excessive noise or disruptive activities are not permitted.

ALL NOISE TO BE KEPT TO A MINIMUM AFTER 9.00PM

Water is to be used conservatively for all purposes, the washing of cars, vehicles is not permitted.

Camp Grounds are non-powered (power may be made available for medical purposes by prior arrangement).

External power points may be used for recharging of portable devices, no responsibility is accepted for any loss or damage.

Groups generating large quantities of waste will be required to dispose of the excess off-site.

Failure to comply with these rules or any reasonable request by Campground Caretakers or Bribie Island Scout Group may result in you being required to leave the grounds, no reduction of fees will be allowed.

Prior to Departure (see Instructions on notice board): – Kitchen

1. All floors to swept and Mopped with sanitiser solution

2. All Benches and Tables to be wiped down and sprayed with Sanitiser

3. Tables to be folded and placed against the wall in the corner and chairs to be stacked

Toilets and Showers.

1. Walls to be sprayed with Cleaner supplied

2. Floors to be mopped and sanitised

Grounds

Grounds are to be checked for rubbish and equipment (Ropes, tent pegs etc)
